I happened upon a Daily Deviation a little while back featuring some pixel art collaborations of Human and Alien spaceships over at ~pixel-pax (https://www.deviantart.com/pixel-pax)'s gallery.  Dunno why I got caught up in it, guess it seemed easy and accessible.  That and designing spaceships is really fun!  It reminded me of when I used to design my own ships inspired by the Wing Commander games. Oddly enough, I think painting pixels satisfied some subconscious urge for minute detail (and to design spaceships).  I mean these things are the size of stamps when viewed normally and as such it's very hard to keep a good perspective on the composition.  Next up are the big brui

Wow, how long was i absent from here?  Seems like ages ago, but I'm slowly working my way back through all the deviations on my list.  One month at a time.  Well, I haven't touched a tablet or a mouse or much of anything in a while, but I did manage an image of Prince Albert in a campbell soup can.  Work keeps me pretty busy and doing more stuff outside which is a good thing still.  It's been very enjoyable going back through all those deviations and making comments--so many great things happening. Yep.  Better go grab my sleeping bag from the laundry mat.  Still need to pack for my summer vacation.  Woo!  It's going to be an awesome month!

Been a while since I traipsed this way.  Guess life has a way of taking on a life of it's own.  I've been pretty busy with work and other things outside.  Art isn't forgotten, nay, more like it was stuck in a giant messy pile in my room and I've recently rediscovered that it existed.  Passing thought:  "Where was that art thing, hmm.  I'll have to look for it later..."  Several months pass.... Rummaging thought:  "Oh!  what's this?  I'd forgotten all about this!  wow!"  I will admit one thing however... it is nice to be free of video games' grips after a 3 year stint on FFXI.  This past October will have marked my first year not having played
