I happened upon a Daily Deviation a little while back featuring some pixel art collaborations of Human and Alien spaceships over at 's gallery. Dunno why I got caught up in it, guess it seemed easy and accessible. That and designing spaceships is really fun! It reminded me of when I used to design my own ships inspired by the Wing Commander games.

Oddly enough, I think painting pixels satisfied some subconscious urge for minute detail (and to design spaceships). I mean these things are the size of stamps when viewed normally and as such it's very hard to keep a good perspective on the composition. Next up are the big bruisers.
